I just listened to Lisa's latest post. Simply put, please don't expect anyone who hasn't lived your life to understand. I know that she's right but for me it's still exhausting.
I just can't get past the thought that I have no one to talk to. I've tried the support groups but there's no room for interaction. It's all about responding and listening and not that that's a bad thing, it most definitely is not, but there's no room for exchange between members.
I'd I like to set myself a goal to find someone but I know that I've already done that in the past and it has not come true.
I guess I don't have much more to say about that but I know that I haven't posted in a while and I just wanted to get some thing out there and that message truly struck me.

P.S. Please do not be discouraged by the title of the book which I suspect many are. There is very little dancing taking place. Thus the title Off the dance floor. The word Off is very important.
Do not judge the book by its cover. 😊
